TM ACADEMY

We guide with unwavering Trust & Integrity

We are in the business of creating traffic management specialists from traffic controllers to drivers to Auditors. We can coach the true potential out of your team, no matter how big or small.
The TM Academy (TMA) was founded (24 June 2014) with a clear vision: to support the TTM industry by not only highlighting compliance issues, but by equipping providers, workers, and (PCBUs with the knowledge and tools needed to meet those expectations through quality, targeted training. With the New Zealand TTM sector experiencing increasing regulatory demands and continuously evolving safety standards, highlighting the need for a highly skilled and adaptable workforce.
At TMA we provide high-quality industry-driven courses and competency assessments, for people wanting to join the Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) industry and for those already in the industry and wanting to upskill. We also provide education in essential health, safety and emergency road incident management. We see the knowledge and skills that we equip our students with as essential to ensuring health and safety, and effective delivery of traffic management on New Zealand’s roads.

Leadership

A word from CEO

“Working on or near roads is a recognised high-risk activity. Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) is used to protect road workers from road users, to protect road users from any hazards related to the work site, and to reduce disruption to traffic flows during work. Industry engagement plays a critical role in shaping the evolution and effectiveness of traffic management in NZ.”
