As New Zealand’s TTM industry moves towards a more risk-based approach, Riku is passionate about helping people and organisations understand what this means in practice. He believes training should be relevant, engaging and directly connected to the real situations learners will face on the road.
Riku also has a strong interest in technology and course development, including digital tools that help organisations manage training records, qualifications and competencies.
His goal is simple: to make training relevant, engaging and useful for the situations learners will actually face on the road.
Outside of work, Riku is a competitive compound archer and has represented New Zealand internationally. He brings the same focus, discipline and commitment to developing people in his work with TM Academy.
