Warrants/ Qualification:
On successful completion of all components “Achieved” for Unit Standard 31959, the Assessor will lodge your credits to be added to your NZQA record of learning (via Connexis).
Who should attend this workshop:
Any worker who will be required to:
- mind a worksite in the absence of the STMS
- set up a worksite where TTM is clear of the live lane
- undertake a roadside activity (on 60km/h or less road) where the vehicle is legally parked and accessed from the non-traffic side
- complete an inspection activity.
Outcome of this training:
This warrant enables the holder, once briefed by the STMS in charge, to:
On category A roads
- undertake a roadside activity where the vehicle is legally parked and accessed from the non-traffic side
On category A and B roads
- set up, maintain and remove TTM for roadside or shoulder activities where all TTM equipment (including TTM vehicles) is outside the edgeline (or edge of seal if there is no edgeline)
- maintain TTM at an existing static worksite when the in charge STMS is away from the worksite. The STMS must return to the worksite to carry out any required changes
- complete inspection activities
Note: the TMO P warrant enables the holder to be in charge of and undertake inspection activities. They will not have to report to an STMS for the inspection activity.

- Full PPE Gear, including Rain wear, if completing Practical Verification / Assessment (On-Road)

Lunch:
- Will be provided for face-to-face one-day (or more) workshops extending beyond lunch break only, not short workshops (1/2 day or less).

- No Pre-requisite
- It is highly recommended that if students have no previous TTM warrants, qualification or physical worksite experience, that the student first achieved US31958 – TTM Worker qualification.

- Unit Standard 31959 cost @ $6.50 x 5 Credits = $32.50 + GST included (Connexis Fee)
- $30.00 + GST per Unit Standard Booklet Pack (Connexis Fee)
- Sign off by NZQA approved Assessor for Unit Standard 31959
- Lunch will be provided for full day workshops only, not short courses
Payment Agreement:
- A course fee will become payable upon securing the booking online.
- All fees are due 48-hours prior to workshop attendance, unless otherwise agreed by TMA Management. Refer to terms and conditions.

- Overdue accounts will be referred to Debt Collection services, and all associated fees will be liable by student/company making the booking.
