Apply Verifier and Assessor (4-hr) Application programme

This 4-hour theory workshop and practical assessment provide workplace verifiers, assessors, and trainers with the knowledge and skills to support students in delivering training and competency assessments. The role of the verifier and assessor is designed to support their students to gain the relevant qualifications and practical experience required to perform their roles safely, confidently, and to industry-standard outcomes.

It is suitable for individuals seeking to understand the requirements and application process to become a recognised TM Academy PTE Workplace Verifier or Assessor.

Required to complete your enrolment to any programme:

Compulsory: National Student Number: Not Supplied – No Qualification Accreditation

You will be required to complete an NZQA enrolment form as the first step of your enrolment to any programme, and would require the following information on hand:

    • Head and Shoulder Photo (blank background) used for any printed quals cards
    • Proof of Identification (Passport, Birth Certificate) – Driver License not a form of ID
    • National Student Number (NSN#) – Visit The New Zealand Qualifications Authority – NZQA OR
    • Casual dress code (NO WORK BOOTS)
    • Full PPE Gear, including Rain wear, if completing any practical requirements (workplace or simulated)
    • Bring reading spectacles if required (Tablet / Chromebook use).
    • Water Bottle to hydrate whilst conducting practical

Workshop Outcomes:

After completing the workshop, participants may be eligible to apply to become a recognised TM Academy:

  • Workplace Trainer / Facilitator
  • Workplace Evidence Verifier
  • Workplace Assessor
  • Workplace Moderator

Participants will also gain practical knowledge to confidently support workplace-based training and competency assessment activities to industry-standard outcomes.

Requirements:

Depending on the role, participants may also need to:

  • Hold or work towards Certificate in Adult Education (Level 4) for a Trainer/Facilitator role
  • Hold or work towards the 4098 Assessor qualification with relevant industry standards to be assessed, for an Assessor role
  • Hold relevant industry experience and standards for a Verifier role
  • Participate in moderation and quality assurance activities
  • Hold relevant industry experience and subject matter expertise
  • Attend TM Academy workshops and refresher forums
  • Meet TM Academy approval requirements

ONLINE ATTENDANCE: 

  • will be conducted from student location and devices (not in person).

Payment Agreement:

  • A course fee will become payable upon securing the booking online.
  • All fees are due prior to workshop attendance, unless otherwise agreed by TMA Management. Refer to terms and conditions.
  • Please refer to the Late Cancellation / No Show terms and conditions outlined above.
  • Overdue accounts will be referred to Debt Collection services, and all associated fees will be liable by student/company making the booking.
  • Xero invoice will be sent on confirmation of booking or can pay via Credit Card / Debit / Bank Transfer or Stipe.
  • Payment options will be available Online or Xero Invoice upon making your booking.
